The cat is out of the bag! We are very excited to finally announce our newest creation, and it’s, well, Colossal. This June, prepare yourself for a festival like no other: together with Comedy Central and Another Planet Entertainment, we bring you Comedy Central Presents Colossal Clusterfest, taking place in San Francisco’s Civic Plaza and the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, June 2-4. 2017.
It’s got everything from Comedy, to music, to drag queens. Jerry Seinfeld, Kevin Hart, Tegan and Sara, Sarah Silverman and Friends, Ice Cube, Hannibal Buress, and A TON more will be there. The list keeps going, we’re not kidding–check out the full lineup!
Colossal Clusterfest is a celebration of comedy in all its forms. We’ll be bringing your favorite shows–Seinfeld, FXX’s It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and South Park–to life. Coming at you IRL–you can join South Park’s Chili con Carnival, get a “Beef and Beer” from Paddy’s Pub, or a smorgasbord of classic foods from “Monk’s Cafe” and “The Soup Nazi” and re-live your favorite show moments while celebrating San Francisco’s food scene.
You’ll be able to enjoy stand-up, sketch, live podcasts, Q&A’s, and one-of-a-kind collaborations between musicians and comedians. Colossal Clusterfest, is a comedy and music event, wrapped in a music festival format complete with headlining outdoor stages to small, dark comedy club vibes indoors.
We’ve always had a strong comedic presence at our festivals, like our comedy theater at Bonnaroo and the Barbary at Outside Lands, but now Comedy will take the center stage. We imagined an event where comedians could shine as the headliners, with incredible music adding to the experience. And what place could be more perfect than San Francisco, birthplace of an iconic comedy scene and the launch pad for comedy superstars including Phyllis Diller, Mort Sahl, Robin Williams and Dana Carvey.
We can’t wait to dance, eat, drink, and most of all LAUGH in the City by the Bay and hope you’ll join us! Learn more and grab tickets at www.clusterfest.com.
Also, did you know that laughing counts as an ab workout? So if you come to this, you’ll be working out, technically. Everyone wins.
